I stare in horror
At the pages of my history book
I see all the wars
All the sorrow
That happened in the past
I wish that I could go back and stop it from happening
I know it’s impossible
I should keep studying
All the wars in the past
But so hard to see all the horror that lies there
In the past
In the civil war
The town watched the first battle
It is truly a miracle that the country survived
The war of the south must have been good
For it won the war
If you look at the past of this country
It is clear to see that are country would not exist if it wasn’t for God

You are sensitive and it shows. Sometimes I even feel that way about war when I read the Book of Mormon. It's just so hard to truly visualize what really happened and how many lives were affected. You did a good job of conveying that feeling!

Alexa, as I told you, all you have to do is think about a project and you can do it. Same goes with making a poem. Just thinking about it and actually trying it will acomplish much.
